Restorations by Design

Hello,

My name in fact is Robin Williams.  This coincidence is something I easily go along with people when they have a little fun with the name thing and thats alright with me.  I have been working in the field of mental health and addiction counseling for the past 25 years and credentialed in both.  I am board certified in Christian counseling and have my Ph.D. in Addictionology.  I was born in Duluth, Minnesota and enjoy all seasons, especially the region of Lake Superior.  I also am a "recovering dairy farmer" and have enjoyed a lifestyle of hard work together with the solitude and simplicity that this kind of environment brings. 

The name, Restorations by Design has special meaning that is personal and biblically relavant to the kind of work we do.  My mission is to maintain and provide high standards of quality care in having a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.  I wish to participant in God's plan to help others adjust and recover from the problems that hinder the restoration of bringing people back to health, prosperity and true purpose.     

Our Business

Is to serve others and to love them in lieu of any shorcomings they may have and treat them as God would.  I believe that using a biblical approach in helping people with their personal and psychological problems has many advantages.  Our services are not only for the Christian, but also for those estranged from God and searching for the answers to many of life's questions.  If there are personal issues that contain a spiritual element to their problems then logically this problem requires a spiritual solution.   

Who We Are

These are hard times in our community, few would disagree.  I also believe these are exciting times in what I hear people are searching for to improve their lives and find true purpose and meaning. 

I believe God gives us all what we need to truly be healthy and productive according to the mutual plan that is between yours and His.  We desire to be a part of that process that renews and restores people in a therapeutic way that truly makes a lasting difference.  Our way is meant to be God's way.  We are willing to work hard for you in finding out what is best for you.  

Restorations by Design has a significant meaning and purpose.  The word, restoration means "to restore a person to a former condition of health, to set in order or to mend."  The word, design means "to plan and fashion artistically or skillfully form or conceive in the mind, purpose, adaptation of means to a preconceived end that is accomplished through God."
